Sir.

At a meeting held on Saturday 15-3-47 to inform the

newly returned Pre-War Officers of what action had been taken

regarding the Memorandum, the following proposal was made:-

"That the proposed salary scale contained in the reply

to the Memorandum should be raised by 25% all round".

On being seconded and put to the meeting a unanimous vote

was returned:

I would therefore request that this information

be forwarded to Government so that it be added to the scale

already submitted:
